Saaz Special
New czech aromatic variety of hops.
The Saaz Special variety is a new Czech variety of hybrid offspring of Saaz and new breeding material, belonging to a group of aromatic varieties, which by its character fills the place between the varieties Saaz and Sládek. It has a fairly high content of Farnesen, which gives beer (despite the higher content of bitter substances over the Saaz) very fine aroma and balanced bitterness. Although the Saaz does not substitute, but supplement it perfectly in the production of mainly fermented beer.

Aroma
Pleasant hops, herb with fruit tones. Light spicy.

Use
The composition and content of resins and essential oils is very suitable for lagers combined with Saaz. Thanks to the higher content of bitter substances, however, it is also matched to fine-tune the hop flavor of the top fermented brewed beer, where it delivers a balanced hop, herbal and slightly fruity aroma.
